CESA 12 is looking for an individual to serve as Pronouncer for their regional spelling bee next month. The competition is scheduled on Tuesday, February 3 at Northwood Technical College in Ashland.

Congratulations to Harrison, a Youth Apprentice in the Auto Technician pathway at Eagle All Sports. Harrison has shown strong dedication, a great work ethic, and a willingness to learn hands on skills that matter in the real world. A special thank you to mentor Keith Dodge for supporting Harrison’s growth and helping him build valuable industry experience. CESA 12 and Superior HS hosted the annual Northern WI Sportsmanship Leadership Summit on Thursday, November 13th. Student groups from 17 School Districts attended!
Keynote speaker, Ivie Brooks (LGSW), presented on supporting healthy mental health for student athletes. Thank You to Kwik Trip for sponsoring the Keynote!
Students attended sessions related to strategies for supporting healthy wellbeing and ways to improve sportsmanship with peers and officials. Students had time to discuss their schools and consider ways to increase sportsmanship for their school and community.
Students and staff received shirts designed in collaboration with students and Sign Studio Print Shop in Phillips, WI.
Thank you to all those who were a part of this event and supporting positive sportsmanship in our region!
We’re proud to highlight Jackson, a Drummond High School student in our Youth Apprenticeship program under the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics pathway. Jackson has been gaining hands-on experience with Dockside Services LLC. He is learning real-world skills like safely pulling docks and lifts out of the water, equipment operation, customer service, and the importance of teamwork and reliability.
A huge thank you to Riley Welhaven for being such a fantastic YA mentor and giving Jackson the opportunity to learn and grow in the field!
