Our amazing Braille readers celebrated Braille Literacy Awareness Month in January by reading to kindergarteners, teaching classmates about Braille, and even transcribing a menu into Braille for a local coffee shop ☕📖. These students work incredibly hard to build skills that set them up for success in school and beyond—and we couldn’t be more proud to help them unlock the superpower of Braille literacy! 💙✨

We’re proud to highlight Jackson, a Drummond High School student in our Youth Apprenticeship program under the Transportation, Distribution & Logistics pathway. Jackson has been gaining hands-on experience with Dockside Services LLC. He is learning real-world skills like safely pulling docks and lifts out of the water, equipment operation, customer service, and the importance of teamwork and reliability.
A huge thank you to Riley Welhaven for being such a fantastic YA mentor and giving Jackson the opportunity to learn and grow in the field!

CESA 12 is looking for an individual to serve as Pronouncer for their regional spelling bee next month. The competition is scheduled on Tuesday, February 3 at Northwood Technical College in Ashland.

Congratulations to Harrison, a Youth Apprentice in the Auto Technician pathway at Eagle All Sports. Harrison has shown strong dedication, a great work ethic, and a willingness to learn hands on skills that matter in the real world. A special thank you to mentor Keith Dodge for supporting Harrison’s growth and helping him build valuable industry experience.
